Dr. Rappley takes ALS Ice Bucket Challenge
Dean Marsha Rappley accepted the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS awareness and research Friday, with third-year College of Human Medicine students "assisting" Dr. Rappley in her challenge.
Challenging Dr. Rappley was Christina Freese-Decker, president of Spectrum Health Hospital Group.
As part of the challenge, Dr. Rappley was to name three more people to take the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS awareness and research. Says Dr. Rappley, "Now I get three challenges...I challenge Peter Secchia, Peter Secchia and Peter Secchia!!!"
Students from the 2014 entering class of Michigan State University College of Human Medicine participated in the college’s annual Afternoon of Community Service on August 20.
