Genetics Graduate Program
The genetics program at Michigan State University is one of the outstanding graduate programs for genetics research and scholarship in the country.
The strength of the Genetics Graduate Program lies in its interdisciplinary nature, allowing graduate students a great deal of flexibility in designing their individualized programs of research and study while maintaining a core Ph.D. graduate program and strong interactions among students and faculty.

CMB/GEN 2004 Retreat:
August 28-29
The Genetics Program and the Cell and Molecular Program jointly host an annual retreat prior to the beginning of the fall semester. The retreat is held at the MacMullan Conference Center at Higgins Lake, Roscommon, MI.
